Having come back on a trip from Asia, I've realized that living in LA is like having access to the world. Seriously, we're so lucky to have so much cultural diversity in LA, which is reflected in its food, plethora of entertainment and destinations.
Recently, we've had the pleasure to visit the newly renovated Kyoto Grand in Downtown LA to explore their new Japanese touches, reflected in their beautiful Pangea Gardens (complete with waterfalls) and their new rooms. Their newly renovated rooms have a mod-Asian flair to them, and are perfect for out of town guests since it's in the center of Little Toyko. I know we've booked some rooms there for out of town guests when we've had events at the nearby stunning Vibiana, and the gardens there would be a great setting for a small intimate wedding or shower of 50 or less.
So if the travel bug has bit, but you can't spare more than a weekend, check out the Kyoto Grand as your stop to Japan in LA!
