{ Xochitl + Ian :: Vibiana, July 16, 2011 }

So excited to feature another Fresh Events Company event that took place at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles, one of our all time favorite venues, and for good reason!  A gorgeous event space with high ceilings, white pillars, beautiful dark wood floors, and an outside garden perfect for a beautiful ceremony or an exciting cocktail hour filled with lounge areas and a Mariachi band, just like our client's Xochitl and Ian did!

Taking advantage of all of the gorgeous natural lighting during the daytime, we opted for a simple and clean ceremony inside the Main Hall, followed by a Mexican inspired cocktail hour filled with colorful Mexican sarapes, lavender infused drinks, Mariachi Band, and amazing food.  We had an hour to flip the entire inside space for the reception, where we brought in punches of lavender and touches of red, creating an icy yet romantic feel to the gorgeous wedding cake down to the sleek white dance floor.

Small Cameras for Big Personalities!!

One of our favorite photographers is hosting this complimentary photography class. Take advantage of it if you love taking photos. Have Aaron from FotoNuova teach you some tricks to impress your family and friends later :)

"Ahh the point and shoot camera! We all own these little point and shoot cameras but very few folks use them to their full potential. Those little compact darlings that are capable of sometimes producing horror and other times absolute beauty.

We buy them with the intention to capture the memories of our lives. The intention to capture our kids growing from year to year. The intention of documenting our family vacations and reunions. What often happens is we end up with a series of photos that leave much to be desired.

Now, how would you like to impress Grandma and Grandpa with beautiful photos of your little bambinos taken by your little point and shoot camera? How would you like to be the envy of all your friends and family for creating such wonderful photos of your kids with your little camera? How would you like to be the absolute superstar of your Facebook network with all of those amazing images of their kids? Is that something you might be interested in?

You are in luck! FotoNuova is hosting a point and shoot workshop: "Small Cameras for Big Personalities!"

You will be exploring and learning just a few simple picture taking principals that will enhance your images considerably! Some tips you will learn will be:

{ The Knot Magazine Industry Event :: Natural History Museum, June 22, 2011 }

We were so honored and excited when The Knot Magazine selected Fresh Events Company out of a pool of planners to coordinate and plan their yearly industry networking event.  This event is an amazing night of networking and seeing whats hot and new in the event industry and is held in major cities all across the country.  Being located in Los Angeles, we knew right away we needed a unique and iconic venue, and what better venue than the Natural History Museum is there to represent the rich culture and history of Los Angeles!

The night was filled with amazing food from LA's hottest food trucks, live entertainment from both a band and a DJ, tons of sweets and fabulous desserts, and raffle prizes galore!  Check out the photos below and the list of AMAZING vendors we worked with at the event:

{ Diana + Enoch :: Pasadena Convention Center, May 29, 2011 }

Getting that e-mail or phone call from a photographer telling us that photos are finally published and ready to view is one of the best feelings in the world!  We had the pleasure of working with Enoch and Diana for their classic and romantic wedding that took place on May 29, 2011.  They had a simple and beautiful ceremony at the Oneonta Church in Pasadena with their reception being held at the modern and contemporary Pasadena Convention Center.  Soft hues of lavender, creams, and flowing white drapes helped create this classic and clean look.
